2014 Advertising and Promotions Study 

This study provides an overview of the retail ad landscape for avocados and identifies trends
and performance drivers around this key merchandising tactic. This study examines a number of
advertising types and conditions to understand which are most efficient and drive the most
incremental volume. Specifically, this study evaluates:
  • Ad size
  • Ad placement/position
  • Offer type (single/multiple purchase)
  • Avocado size
  • Conventional vs. organic
  • Avocado variety**
